Oatmeal Cookies

What you have:

  • Chocolate Chips
  • Brown Sugar
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Rolled Oats
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt

What you need:

  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease cookie sheets. Spoon chocolate chips into a small bowl, set aside.
  • Spoon brown sugar and granulated sugar into a large mixing bowl, set aside.
  • Spoon oats into another small bowl, set aside.
  • Grab your large mixing bowl of sugars and add 1 stick of butter. Cream together, then beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the creamed mixture.
  • Place lid on jar, shake lightly to mix together the remaining contents in the jar.
  • Slowly pour flour mixture into the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and oats.
  • Cover your batter with plastic wrap and chill for 5 minutes in refrigerator.
  • Drop 1″ rolled batter balls onto greased cookie sheets, leaving 2″ between each ball. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to rest 5 minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
